OUR STORY
Our humble roots began in the year 2013. Mr. Vetrivel, founder of AIM, is an ardent follower of our beloved former president Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam. His vision and his dream of a green future and empowered youth was Vetri’s Mission. The worsening environmental conditions in tightly packed cities like Chennai deeply troubled him and A.P.J’s words inspired him to be a change-maker. So began the story of AIM, young inspired minds like Vetri and many others joined together resolved to work restlessly towards climate action and community empowerment.
OUR WORK FOR THE COMMUNITY
AIM constantly worked towards empowering the society by instilling inspiration to take action, creating numerous awareness campaigns educating people on the importance of community action, climate change and several other topics of importance. AIM strongly believes in uplifting people in need, achieving it through its impactful initiatives such as Food Donation Campaigns, Free tuition centres, Active Flood Rescue activities and many more.
