Following the great vision of Dr. Kalam, we have been carrying out several initiatives to create a clean city and eventually a clean country. Have a look at our Initiatives:
Our Chennai, Our Responsibility
Under the Campaign “Our Chennai, Our Responsibility” we have been carrying out locality wise cleaning activities at many places in Chennai. The main idea behind the campaign is to create awareness and instill responsibility among the community for unified action. Regular awareness camps and clean-up drives are being conducted under the initiative.
vision 2020
Our flagship initiative Vision 2020 is oriented more towards implementation of our clean city goals. The initiative which we inaugurated in 2017 is targeted, timeframe based. We adopt one street for 48 days, and carry out street wise cleaning and environmental improvement activities involving the local community. Awareness regarding proper waste segregation and waste management are a part of the campaign. This being one of our star initiatives continues to see roaring success converting many localities to clean and green streets.
